Daiwa-Hobie Kayak BASS Grand Final- Wildcards Are Go

The 2013 Daiwa-Hobie Kayak BASS
Series hits its climax event when the Grand Final heads to northern NSW’s
Toonumbar Dam, 16/17th November. Featuring Australia’s best kayak basser anglers
the start list for the final will feature qualifiers from the four qualifying
rounds held throughout the year and a selection of wild card entrants. For
anglers who don’t qualify via the qualifying rounds there are five wildcard
berths on offer. How do you get one, well let’s take a
look.
Wildcard spots will be awarded
two different ways and offer anglers more opportunity than ever to make the
Grand Final. Here’s how it works.

  1. All anglers
who fish each round will go into the draw with one wildcard spot drawn out to
    fish the GF. (1 wildcard)
  2. For
each of the four qualifying rounds all anglers who didn’t qualify but did catch
fish will go into draw, then four names will be drawn out, with one angler from
    each event chosen. (4 wildcards).
  3. For
season one Hobie have offered non-bass anglers wildcards into the final in an
effort to help promote and expand the kayak bass series for next
    season.

With five wildcards berths
on offer and one more round of the series still to go, anglers have a host
of opportunities and ways to qualifying for the Toonumbar Grand Final. For more
