BASS Electric Toonumbar Dam April 6th/7th

24
Anglers rolled up to have a crack at the Toonumbar BASS Electric.

One
angler stood out from the crowd- Rod Shorten. He fished the top end of the dam
using a Bassman spinner bait, 8oz with a single Colorado blade in olive green colour. He
flicked in between the lily pads and caught a full bag for the two sessions.

Shorten fished with a G Loomis rod and Daiwa reel.

The
second place getter was Brett Kleinschmidt. He said he used a similar approach as
Shorten but used a beetle spin with a Keitech soft plastic 3inch paddle tale-
dipped in chartreuse garlic scent. His rod of choice was the Samurai 201 with
Daiwa reel.

Big
Bass for the weekend went to Ken Fitzgibbon. He caught the 0.965kg on a
Megabasss Dog-X jnr with a Samurai203 rod and Daiwa Steez reel.

Thanks
to everyone who braved the initial weather conditions- it turned out ok on
Sunday.
