Here’s the go re: the event.
The event will be based from the
Mudgeeraba Showgrounds (20 minute drive to the western ramp at Hinze).
Unfortunately there will be no accommodation, activities or catering as
part of the event.
We did try hard to find a venue that would
allow us to run the event as originally planed but we had no luck. We
even pushed hard with the show association to allow us to camp at the
showgrounds but had no success.
The address for the show grounds
is Mudgeeraba Showgrounds, cnr Worongary Rd & Mudgeeraba R,
Mudgeeraba. We will push hard letting competitors know of the change in
venue, including posting all entrants a notice detailing the change.
apologies for our original plans falling over but unfortunately there
was a change or management at out original venue and the new ones
weren’t willing to honor our original agreement and plans.
will text all anglers the week leading into the event with the final
briefing details, but it’ll be standard 5pm rego and briefing at 6pm.
We’ll put on pizza and drinks after the briefing as a thank you for
being tolerant through this venue mess.
yeah, the entry fee for the event is now $110. So if you’ve already
paid the $220 we can either send you a refund or give you a entry credit
that you can use in future events. Give us a call from Monday 1st Oct
to let us know what you’d like.
