Wivenhoe BASS Electric- 12th June

REYNOLDS TAKES THE WIN AT WIVENHOE

Twenty keen anglers made their way to the first of
three Wivenhoe electric comps. With rain overnight and more forecast for the
day’s fishing, it was always going to be a challenge to find some hungry bass,
especially after the floods in Janary in which a lot of water was released from
the dam with lots of bass going with it. But six anglers found one bass each
with Tom Reynolds taking first place, plus Big Bass, with one good bass going a
2.130kg. Tom headed out on the flats and caught his bass hopping a TN60
Jackall.

Coming in second was Jami Kanowski also taking home
a cool $140 for first in the option-up money. Jami caught his bass casting a
TN60 Jackall custom painted to the edges.

Rounding out third was Dave Bullard with his bass
falling to a half-ounce black Little Max, casting to the edges with his
ever-reliable Barra-Bass rod.

Thanks to everyone who turned up and thanks to
Jason Lyons for bringing the kit and giving me a hand.
Rory Saint.
