BlueFin BASS Electric – Danjeera 2-day Results

The second round of the Bluefinn Boats Bass Electric at Danjera Dam was held over the weekend of April 9th and 10th. We had a good turn out with 17 anglers showing up. The fishing conditions looked like it was going to be a little tough as the dam had a massive influx of water and floating debris from recent storms. However looks can be deceiving as the dam was on fire. Two hours into the 1st sessions on Saturday afternoon the dam came alive, with the fish jumping it sounded like house bricks were dropping from a second storey building.

The pattern on the day was down to lightly weighted soft plastics. 1ST
place went to Glenn Hayter with a healthy bag, 4/4 3.115kgs, Glenn
fished to the rear of the dam and used lightly weighted soft plastics,
second place went to Brett Dinham also using the same stealth approach.
Dave Trinder opted for a Spinner Bait selection at the rear of the dam
to secure third place. In forth place was one half of the on fire
Hutchinson father, son team, Cole was the stand out of the day bring
home a impressive bag using soft plastics and jackall chubbies. Mick
Skinner took 5th place, by heading to the narrows at the rear of the
dam on his Hobie paddles, he had an awesome session. Big Bass of the
day when to Steve Lawrence, he was dancing in his Crocs with his
massive 1.140 fish. Thanks to all the competitors who participated, our
official photographer, Mick Skinner and the Wollondilly Bass Club
members for all their help. Look forward to seeing you all next year.
