http://www.australianbass.com.au/modules/Gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=7038&g2_serialNumber=2Jesper Noiesen (2/2, 2.10kg) landed two, quality bass on Lake Macdonald to win in the wonderful, weedy fishery. Throwing a Lucky Craft Redemption spinnerbait (1/2oz, baby bluegill) at the three-ways, Noiesen would roll the lure until it hit the weed and then rip it out with a sharp jab of the rod tip. This is when the bass would bite.

Jesper also modified the lure, cutting off the #5 blade and replacing it with a smaller #4. The 38y/o production manager threw the bait on a G Loomis Mossback with a Daiwa TD Fuego, 10lb PowerPro braid and 14lb Nitlon leader.
Second placed Daniel Patton caught the day’s big bass with a respectable 1.24kg specimen.
