A cool morning greeted 18 anglers for the first Lenthalls event of the year, and hopes were high following a poor season last year. The hopeful anglers took to a lake still dirtied by floods of past and the results were similar to last year with few fish weighted in, only three legals. In first place with the only full bag was Rob Bartlett with a weight of 1.15 Kg who also took big bass with a fish of .67 kg. He used a TN 60 in blue gill cast hard to the lillypads and slow rolled on the bottom to secure his bag . In second place was Rob Hinton with one fish at .6 kg caught on a purple bassman spinner bait. Looks like another sad year for the once great angling destination that was lake Lenthalls, one can only hope that time heals all dams!!
