Fans of the first series of the Australian Fishing Championships will be pleased to know that the second series features more species, more venues and more anglers – and that that it airs soon.
In addition to four BREAM pros taking on four bream arenas (the Gold Coast, Hawkesbury River, Sydney Harbour and Melbourne’s Yarra River), four BASS tournament experts fish Queensland';s Lake Boondooma and Lenthalls as well as the Hunter Valley’s Glenbawn and Lake StClair for valuable championship points.
Four teams contest the series with Team Mercury (Tim Morgan and John Schofield), Team Savage (Ian Miller and Carl Jocumsen), Team Shimano (Chris Wright and Harry Watson) and Team Netspace (Adam Royter and Jason Ehrlich) all vying for the Championship trophy.
Fishing from new model Quintrex and Savage boats powered by Mercury, Mariner and Evinrude engines, cameras follow each angler through every event and present you with the highlights.
You can catch up on all the AFC action on Channel Ten (Southern Cross regionally) from Sunday the 28th November at 12.30pm. This is the time that AFC usually screens, but make sure you check local guides for any variations. – AFC Outdoors.
