Atomic Grand Electric Wivenhoe Results

Atomic Grand Electric Round 2 was picture perfect, a light breeze and warm winter sun greeted 48 anglers who ventured to South East Queensland’s premier big bass dam. Every competitor dreams the week before of being slammed by a 2.5+kg Wivenhoe Drag tester. Team Kanowski did just that with both anglers boating big fish Steve’s partner Corey Kerr used a burn and kill white spinner bait technique to secure 1st and the Tabs Tough Tinnie, with 2 fish for 3.47kg one of them a horse at 2.72kg. Not even this fish was big enough for biggest bass, David Wests cracker 2.745kg bass decimated Chris Wallace’s 780 gram Maroon bass for series leader biggest bass. 2nd place was $300 of Atomic, Ripperz, Guzzlers & Hardz & went to Dave Hislop who used a gold flake Slider on suspended fish for his impressive haul of 3.44kg. 3rd was David West who peppered a small piece of structure until his 2.745 monster kicker fish was annoyed enough to attack his masked vibe and earn him 3rd & a small ransoms worth of Atomic lures.
