Lostock BASS Electric – 1st March

Perfect weather greeted the 21 competitors at Lostock Dam, N.S.W for the first of two electric tournaments scheduled for 2009.The water remained slightly discolored from the heavy rain 2 weeks prior to the event. Undeterred anglers hit the water looking to catch their 2 fish limit and claim early season Convention qualification.

Ron [squirrel] Scott triumphed with a bag of 1.44 kg
which included the Big Bass for the day at 770 grams. Dave [KIWI ] Trinder came
2nd with a bag of 1.33 kg. Dave Mann followed in third position with 1/2 for
740 grams. Fourth was Brian Rutledge with 650 grams, followed by Riki Johnson,
fishing in his first BASS Electric, with 1 fish for 540 grams.

As always Lostock kept the anglers guessing how to
unlock the secret to this dam. I would like to thank all the competitors for
traveling over one of the worst roads accessing any impoundment to try their
luck. I personally look forward to seeing everyone at the next Lostock event on
17th May.
