Maroon Dam home of the small fish but plenty of them. Saturday was quite an interesting day for me, the session times had changed from 4pm start to a 1pm start, and there were quite a few grumbles! I had guys still coming to fish the comp at 3.30pm and I had already weighted in the Winner David Lee by this time. 48 boats and 76 anglers attended for a total of 27 fish weighed in by 21 anglers. David had his first fish in the boat at 1.15pm followed by the second at 1.20pm, after upgrading a few times he decided to weigh in early at 3pm. David caught all his bass on a Bassman 1/2oz Spinnerbait, bony bream colour, slow rolling in amongst the trees near the dam wall in 10ft of water.
