Less than ideal conditions made fishing tough in the night event at Maroon Dam.
Read on to see the full results and find out how it all unfolded.
Maroon Dam produced a tough bite for the second BASS Electric event on the dam for the year, with the majority of fish caught before the sun set the and the wind kicked in.
Anglers successfully located fish on their sounders prior to sunset, with undersized fish dominate before they shut down and the weather turned bad.
The Big Bass of the event, a 0.96kg caught by Peter Keidge fell to a Jackall TN60 (colour- purple tiger) fished tight to weed.
Event winner Martyn Wollens in contrast opted for a softer approach, fishing a Slider grub (colour- junebug/chartreuse tail) around the the weeds to catch his fish.
After dark Martyn switched to a hard bodied approach, catching the kicka fish in his bag on a slow rolled Daiwa Shad Master crankbait (colour- orange & Black). The tackle used to present his offering included a Shimano Catana Rod and a Shimano Seana Reel with 12lb Fireline and 10lb vanish Leader.
