May on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20. There will be two sessions, one late

Tournament director Keith Day said, “With the recent rains
the dam is at about 50% capacity and the 6 knot speed limit has been
lifted. This will let us run the event on similar lines to the
inaugural one, with anglers bringing their catches back to a central
point for scoring.”
“The event will be a great opportunity for locals and
visitors to see Eungella at its best with well grassed camping sites,
plenty of water and the thrill of experiencing world class fishing,”
Tackleworld Mackay proprietor Neil Elsworthy commented.
Nominations are available from Tackleworld on Shakespeare
Street in Mackay. Anglers from other areas can make enquiries via email
to firstname.lastname@example.org. All prizes will be for vouchers redeemable at
Tackleworld Mackay after the event, so that the winners can have their
preferred selection for prizes.
“Because of the generosity of Tackleworld Mackay, we will be
able to offer plenty of prizes for anglers and at an entry fee of $33,
the tournament will be affordable for everyone. We will provide more
detail on the tournament in next month’s issue of QFM,” Mr Day
concluded. – MAFSA
